SFMA Board of Directors

Bryn Koehn | Chair |Community Member

Bryn has been a member of the Squamish community for over 8 years. She first moved here to attend Quest University, and stayed after falling in love with the mountain lifestyle. She believes the market should have a diverse group of community stakeholders on the board and hopes to represent Squamish’s younger community as a board member. Bryn is passionate about creating an accessible market that recognizes, respects, and promotes our local food system. She is driven to preserve the close community feel at the market, especially as Squamish faces rapid growth. As a settler on these unceded territories, she is grateful to have the opportunity to work towards food sovereignty within our community through the Farmer’s Market.

I was born in Squamish and have been working for Mandair farms for the past 8 years on my brother-in-laws farm. Our farm in situated in Abottsfoot and we produce berries. As a farmer we have diversified our products so that customers can enjoy our products all year round, now providing the market with frozen berries, jams chutneys and our family recipe pakoras.

Clare Livingston |Treasurer| Treat

Originally hailing from Scotland I relocated and called Squamish home 8 years ago.  I've come to cherish the profound sense of community this place has to offer.

My business Treat Squamish is still in its early stages, yet I have had the privilege of serving as a vendor at the market for almost 2 years now. I joined the board to help build on the momentum of what is already a thriving market and to support all the businesses that depend on it being a success.

When I'm not baking or at the market serving up delicious treats, you can find me on the bike trails. I run a ladies mountain biking social night as I believe community is the key ingredient to this wonderful town.

Pegah Pourkarimi | To The Next Journey

Pegah Pourkarimi is the owner of To The Next Journey (TTNJ), a brand of no-bullshit food products that elevate the gastronomic experience. TTNJ currently produces small batch hot sauce, right here in Squamish, BC. Having owned and ran a catering company specialising in Persian cuisine in Byron Bay, Australia and working in the food industry for a couple of decades, she is passionate about all things food related. She deeply values the sense of community the Farmer's Market creates along with supporting local businesses. When she's not immersed in food, she spends her free time attempting to keep up with her twin boys on mountain bikes and on the trails.

Tracy Robertson | Stony Mountain Farm

Tracy is the owner and farmer of Stony Mountain Farm. She’s been a member of the Squamish Farmers Market since 2012 when she started selling her farm fresh eggs. As demand increased so did their farm adding many more laying hens, turkeys, chickens, heritage pigs and Icelandic sheep. Eventually they outgrew their farm in Squamish Valley and in late summer 2021 moved the farm to their ranch in Buffalo Creek, just outside 100 Mile House where they continue to grow. Tracy still makes the trip weekly to the market bringing her trailer full of eggs and meats. Tracy served on the board for a combined 8 years, 3 being chair since her time joining the market and its excited to contribute again!

Stefan Butler | Nutrient Dense Farm

We have been at the market for the past 19 years as one of the initial group of vendors.  Myself and my partner run nutrient dense farms located in the Squamish valley, we focus on biodynamic farming and are proud to be able to offer produce to the community all year round.

I look forward to being on the board to help with creating long term plans for the market to stay in the heart of downtown Squamish.
